Ninja
Our
first cat Ninja, was adopted from a local animal shelter in 1994.
He is possibly the world's most handsome cat. At least we think so! We
named him Ninja because when he was a kitten he would jump up onto the
back of the couch (without detection) and pounce on us. |

Since
Ninja was an indoor-only cat we decided he needed a companion (plus we
were getting too old to chase him around!). So in 1996 we adopted
Destiny from a home for rescued pets. We named her "Destiny" because she
chose
us by jumping in to our cat carrier when we visited the cat
rescue home. |

Kobe
We
adopted this Shepherd mix pup in 2003. He was very feisty and would not
hesitate to bite. Kobe was not socialized very much and was hard to handle.
He had a broken tail, but not a broken spirit. By providing him with lots
of love and attention (and a few obedience classes), we now have a great
pooch! (And yes, he gets along with the cats!) |
